Julep’s Annual Oyster Shucking Contest - Oct 083pm - 6pm

Julep is thrilled to reintroduce our popular Oyster Shucking Contest on Sunday, October 8. The contest will feature some of Houston's top chefs squaring off in friendly competition to take home the grand prize.

A judging panel of Houston top tiered media talent will determine a winner based on shucking speed and overall presentation. Alba Huerta, James Beard Award Winning owner, and her team invite the community to attend this outdoor event at Julep, located at 1919 Washington Ave.

A $5 entry fee will be accepted at the door. Proceeds will be donated to the winning chef's charity of choice.
